We are currently looking for Rope Access Manager to join a well Established Survey Consultancy in Manchester Area.
Role Summary
The Rope Access Manager is accountable for the planning, execution and on-going progress and development of the Rope Access works within the business unit reporting to the Head of Operations.
They will oversee the above works to ensure they are executed safely in line with IRATA guidelines, effectively and adhering to company best practices, whilst maintaining high level customer satisfaction.
The role will require development of IRATA works and to seek new business opportunities for development within the bridge inspection area.
Role and responsibilities
- Oversee the safety aspects of all IRATA works
- Maintain and manage all IRATA equipment used in the business unit, ensuring everything is safe and fit for purpose
- Guide and develop level 1 IRATA operatives
- Lead in the accreditation for IRATA membership
- Look for opportunities to Develop the IRATA business unit
- Look for opportunities to develop a structural inspection area of the business unit
- Undertake visual examinations of structures and buildings
- Complete examination reports of structures and buildings after inspection
Qualifications and education requirements
STE04 Examiner
Qualified IRATA Level 3
PTS
HNC in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
Full UK Driving Licence
