CarmichaelUK are looking for 4x Schemes Supervisors to work with one of our tier 1 clients on maintenance contracts for Highways England Area 4 based out of a depot/office in West Malling, Kent. Work carried out is supervising trunk road maintenance and motorway improvement schemes up to £5m. The incoming people will primarily be managing drainage, surfacing and pavement operations and will be required to plan, organise and supervise construction works ensuring that they operate efficiently and meet all the requirements in relation to health & safety, cost, productivity, quality and the environment. We are ideally looking for people to start within the next couple of weeks, with work running through until the end of the year.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead on site supervision
- Ensure all plant and equipment deployed on the network complies with h&s regulations
- Reporting of any h&s incidents
- Progress reporting after each shift
- Review and approve site documentation
- Internal stakeholder management including Construction manager and Scheme Delivery Manager
We are looking for someone who has:
- Gold or Black CSCS card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- First aid at work
- NRSWA (not essential)
- Driving license
