Carmichael UK are looking for a SCL Engineer on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor for a Major railways project.
Preferable experience gained on major civil engineering projects, including large diameter shaft construction, RC structures, waterproofing, formwork, and steel superstructures.
Shift working will be required weekdays only.
8hr shifts pattern (days/backs/nights rotation) to suit programme requirements which will be compensated with a salary uplift.
Candidates with shaft/tunnelling experience including SCL experience preferred.

- Ensuring health and safety is given the highest priority in the delivery of the works
- Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
- Ensure that the Health Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures are effectively communicated to the workforce and implemented
- Work collaboratively with the team and other contractors, subcontractors works packages to achieve the overall project goals
