A setting out engineer is required on a freelance basis. This section of works involves SCL, Waterproofing, Secondary Lining and Grouting. The ideal candidate will have UK experience with these processes.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Section Engineer(s) with SCL works in the tunnels
- Must be able to use Total Station and set out.
- Managing the sub contractors.
- Small amount of QA work
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
Skills Required:
- Completed construction related Degree or HNC
- Valid CSCS card
- Previously worked as a Site, Section or Senior Engineer
- SCL, Secondary Lining and Waterproofing experience.
- To have a sound knowledge of quality assurance and writing method statements and risk assessments
