A Section Engineer Is required on a freelance basis for a contractor working on the Thames Tideway project. This section of works involves tunneling & SCL. This is an ongoing contract.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Sub Agent with tunnelling & SCL works
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Managing the sub contractors and site engineers
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Liaison between the Sub Agent and client on site
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
Skills Required:
- Completed construction related Degree or HNC
- Valid CSCS card
- Previously worked as a Section or Senior Engineer
- Tunnel, SCL & AMBERG experience
- To have a sound knowledge of quality assurance and writing method statements and risk assessments
