A leading civil engineering and infrastructure company are looking to add a Section Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.
They cover various sectors throughout the UK which includes Highways, Rail, Civils and Build.
The project they are looking to add an additional Section Engineer to is for a residential development they are undertaking in the Hertfordshire area which is currently in the groundworks stage and is expected to complete in April 2020, after this they will commence the build of the units which is expected to last for a further 18 months.
You will have previous experience as a setting out engineer and have knowledge of working on residential developments from conception to completion.
Some of your duties will include:
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the Site Engineers
- Complete Inspection and Test Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Liaise with QA and QS teams
- Preparing technical queries and solving problems on site
- Ensuring strict company health and safety is adhered to
- Supporting junior engineers
About you:
- Must have setting out experience
- Degree educated within a civil engineering course
- Experience of working on residential developments from conception to completion
- Stable career background
