Our client a tier one civil engineering contractor has recently been awarded for Highways England the Chelmsford East Beaulieu S278 Works (RDR Phase 3) project.
They require a Section Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Scope of Works:
The works include a new viaduct over the Great Eastern railway and A12 and carriageway works (RDR Phase 3) linking into the Boreham Interchange. Circa £20m
As Section Engineer you will be required to:
Produces Method Statements and Risk Assessments and undertakes periodic reviews
Carry out complex setting out
Produces Activity Control Plans / Inspection and Test Plans and obtains approval
Produces a weekly programme and measures progress against KPI’s
Maintains accurate diary, including dialogue with external organisations (subcontractors)
Requirements:
A degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent
CSCS
SMSTS - Desirable
Strong knowledge of construction process in one or more of the following areas: Earthworks/Drainage, Structures, Roadworks
