Our client a leading civil engineering contractor is constructing over 30km of tunnels under South London. The project is approx. 5 years in duration with a value of £500m
A Section Engineer is required on a permanent basis. This section of works involves TBM. The ideal candidate will have UK experience with these processes.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Shift Agent in the Tunnel
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Managing the sub contractors and Shift Engineers
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Produce ITPs and as builds.
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
Skills Required:
- Completed construction related Degree or HNC
- Valid CSCS card
- Previously worked as a Site, Section or Senior Engineer
- TBM, Tunnel Boring Machine
- To have a sound knowledge of quality assurance and writing method statements and risk assessments
