Section Engineer - TFL
My client is looking for a Section Engineer with a background in Rail/ London Underground works. They are a principle contractor and are working on a number of civils projects for TFL. This is a very paperwork heavy job and the right candidate will be competent with writing RAMs and Method Statements. They will also need to be responsible for managing the sub-contractors on site.
Your duties will include:
- Compiling of Method Statements
- Managing Sub-contractors
- Produce and monitor weekly programs
- Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
- Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
- Produce accurate daily diaries and plant recons
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc
- As built drawings
- Health and Safety compliance
Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- 3-5 years Underground experience
- CCSCS, SSSTS/ SSMSTS and ICI-LU
- Passionate and results driven
- First Aid certificate
- Must have the right to work in the UK
