My client is seeking a Senior Engineer with ground investigation experience to join a major infrastructure project on a permanent basis.
Day to day duties will involve
- Assist with coordination, progress tracking and troubleshooting of Ground Investigation (GI) fieldworks and lab testing delivery across one of the project sections
- Close liaison with the relevant GI section agents from the GI delivery team on site
- Close liaison with the relevant GI subcontractors and the GI laboratories to track and monitor progress and resolve issues (e.g. restricted tests, unsuitable samples etc.)
- Direct reporting to the Design & Engineering Section Lead to ensure the delivery of GI information on time
- Manage and respond to relevant contractual communications
- Attend Risk Reduction meetings
- Supporting the link and coordination with the GI delivery team and GI subcontractors for management of GI related topics is again an essential part of this role
