A large well-established Civil Engineering contractor are searching for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business is working on a large infrastructure project and require a Section Engineer to join their team on a bulk earthworks package which is taking place in Oxfordshire.
You will be joining a close-knight team consisting of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site /Junior Engineers and industrial placement engineers.
You will be tasked with overseeing junior site engineers and ensure their setting out is maintained to a high standard.
A big portion of this position will involve liaising with the other teams within the business within the Quality, Planning, Surveying, Commercial, and HSEQ – due to this you need to be a strong communicator and be able to highlight and correct any issues you may find.
Some of your duties will include:
- Ensure any defects are highlighted and correct as soon as possible
- Ensure quality assurance forms are completed at every stage of the project
- Setting out when required
- Produce good quality RAMS in a timely manner
- Assist and mentor junior engineers
About you:
- Bulk Earthworks experience or Highways experience preferred, although general civils experience will be considered
- Experience of compiling QA documentation
- HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering
