Carmichaels are seeking a Section Engineer with culverts experience to work on the HS2 project in the Birmingham area.
Duties of Section Engineer will include:
- Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance
- Produce and monitor weekly programs
- Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure
- Monitoring and management of the nominated subcontractors
- Quality control in accordance to the specifications
- Compiling of Method Statements
- Produce accurate daily diaries and plant recons
- Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc
- Manage Site Engineer and their duties including Setting out of the works and As built drawings
Requirements for Section Engineer:
- HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
