Section Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Section Engineer for a 12 month + period. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to join a dynamic team responsible for managing the delivery of airport projects.
Role Description:
As the Section Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical and management direction on Airport projects
- Develop and review construction programmes and minor quantities from drawings
- Manage site records and as built drawings
- Undertake daily site management duties to obtain maximum quality within agreed budgets
- Management of contractors works and liaison with other disciplines and project managers
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate qualifications and experience working as a Section Engineer:
- Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Relevant and appropriate professional membership of a relevant professional body e.g. ICE, CIOB etc.
- Experience in Section Engineering role, particularly airport.
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills, including managing tight timescales.
