CarmichaelUK are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Cambridgeshire.
As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the site engineering team, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the setting-out team from construction to completion

Allocate labour, plant, and materials in liaison with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman

Manage performance and development of Site Engineers

Resolve technical issues on site in coordination with senior team members

Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements

Produce programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans

Contribute to financial forecasting and cost control
About You:

HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Working towards or holding professional membership (ICE preferred)

Demonstrable experience in highways construction and supervision

SMSTS or SSSTS
-
CSCS (White, White-Yellow, Black, or Gold)
-
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
