Our client, a main contractor working on a major infrastructure project in Hertfordshire, is currently seeking a Section Engineer to join the team on a short term contract.
This individual shall be leading the construction of a diaphragm wall, liaising with the subcontractor, ensuring we are following the job specification and quality is upheld.
Previous experience working on diaphragm walls is essential.
You will be managing Site Engineer's that will report directly into you and supporting them as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop junior members of the team
- Communicate and provide information to assist with the construction of works
- Ensuring a safe working practice
- Manage subcontractors
Experience
- Experience working with earthworks and diaphragm walls
- Hold a valid CSCS card.
- BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
