Carmichael UK are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major highways project in Gloucestershire.
We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer with a strong background in earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages to support delivery on a high-profile scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering delivery across earthworks, drainage and landscaping packages
- Oversee bulk earthworks (cut & fill, embankments, formation)
- Manage delivery of deep drainage, culverts and attenuation systems
- Coordinate landscaping and environmental works
- Supervise Site Engineers and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality and HSE standards
- Manage ITPs, QA documentation and as-built records
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Section Engineer / Senior Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong background in earthworks, drainage and/or landscaping
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, QA processes and site delivery
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple work packages
- CSCS card and relevant qualifications
- Right to work in the UK
