A large civil engineering contractor that specialise in Highways projects are seeking a Section Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Due to an increase in workload in the Shropshire and surrounding area they require an experienced Site Engineer with sufficient Highway/upgrade experience to assist with projects in the area.
Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, any of the following;
- Overseeing the setting out on site and answering technical queries
- Carrying out of quality control
- Meeting deadlines and liaising with clients
- Working in close liaison with management to ensure site progressing in accordance to planning
- Answering technical queries when needed
- Providing a detailed technical input
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Ensuring a safe working practice
Skills:
- Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
- Hold a valid CSCS card.
- HNC/D or Degree in Civil Engineering
