A large established multi-disciplinary contractor are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful Section Engineer will be working on the Crossrail West Stations Package 3 which has been underway since the beginning of 2019.
You will ideally have exposure to one of more of the following; Civil Engineering, Construction, Fit-out, M&E, Cladding and Facades.
Using your previous knowledge, you will be confident delegating to and overseeing a Site Engineer and supervising them until the task has been completed.
The scope of works will include new and modified station buildings, installing new footbridges and lifts, upgrading electrical supplies and mechanical systems.
Some of your duties will include:
- Identify and report any clashes on site are managed to ensure the work progresses smoothly
- Reporting to a Subagent, you will be working with the Section Foreman to assess plant and resource requirements in order to meet site and office demands
- Ensuring the Engineers are setting out in accordance to designs
About you:
- Civil Engineering degree educated
- You will possess a solid background in Civil Engineering, specifically having exposure to structure foundations and fit out
- Stable career history
- Have a solid engineering background
