Section Engineer – Crossrail – West London
We are currently recruiting for a Section Engineer to work on a major Crossrail project. The stations are West Drayton, Hayes & Harlington and Southall.
Solid Civils background, particularly structures, foundations and fit-out; plus building or station buildings.
For this Section Engineer position exposure to the railway interface is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for a Section engineer who has gained experience of one or more of Piling and FRC packages, Building, Fit-Out, M&E, Cladding & Façade, Structural Steel.
The project comprises:
- New or modified station buildings
- New footbridges
- New lifts
- Upgraded electrical supplies and wiring
- Upgraded mechanical systems
- Upgraded revenue collection.
Minimum Requirement:
Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
Understanding of Engineering Principles
Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on the development of people in the team to realise their potential
Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system).
Relevant CSCS Card
Desirable:
Degree in Civil Engineering
A Chartered member of a relevant professional body
Vocational Training (successful experience at engineer level)
