Role - Section Engineer (Night Shift)
Location – Stoke-on-Trent
Duration – 12 months +
Rate - £300 per day LTD Co. + 25% uplift
Start - ASAP
This prestigious highway project is underway and will require the services of a competent and responsible Section Engineer to manage and coordinate the complete night operations of a portion of the works. Works include drainage, earthworks and pavements, surfacing, concrete slip forming. Previous highways experience as a Section Engineer is essential for the success of this job.
Your duties for this job will include:
- Planning and coordinating of the works and the specific disciplines
- Tasking and management of Site Engineers and reporting to the Agent
- Ensuring all setting out and asbuilts are correct and up to date
- Compiling method statements and risk analyses
- Ensuring the design and specification are adhered to
- QA and HSE
Requirements for this post include:
- Civil Engineer Degree or Diploma
- Extensive roads and highways experience
- Proven hands-on management ability
- CSCS and CIS if registered through Ltd Company
This job requires you to work nights and weekend nights but the uplift makes it worthwhile.
