My client, a tier one contractor on a major infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire, is seeking a Section Engineer with experience in rail to start as soon as possible. PTS, COSS and Safe Work Leader 1 tickets are essential for this role.
Description of Activities to be undertaken
Ensure timely delivery and sign off for CDM Control Points in advance of works
Review and approve SSOWs, Work Package Plans, Rail Possessions etc
Produces Method Statements and Risk Assessments and undertakes periodic reviews.
Supervise construction activities
Subcontractor management - all aspects
Attend weekly & monthly meetings as required by the Site Agent, reporting and assisting project controls function.
Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Proven experience in the rail sector of civil engineering
Controller of Site Safety
PTS
Safe Work Leader 1
