We are currently recruiting for a short-term contract based in Bristol for a section engineer on a road remediation job.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 and will be PAYE.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reporting to the Lands and Surveys Project Manager
- - Manage a section of works or subcontractor
- - Produce and review RAMS and ITP's as required
- - Develop and manage short term programmes for land access and surveys
- - Monitor performance of subcontractors
- - Liaise with designers and land agents
- - Manage and support relations with landowners through comms team and land agents
- - Ensure HSE and Quality standards and performance are complied with
- - Liaise with other engineers and foreman to ensure smooth operations of works
- - Support junior engineers
- - Maintain daily records and diary
- - Support commercial team by keeping contemporaneous records as required and identifying risks and changes.
Key Skills
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Is fully competent with CAD
- Has groundworks experience
