Our client, a well-known sub-contractor, is seeking a Senior Agent to be based predominately in Litchfield, to manage multiple sites on a major civils project in the Warwickshire and Birmingham areas.
Your key activities will include:
- Set personal example in health, safety and environmental matters.
- Manage, supervise and mentor the project team as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Adopt, maintain and promote cost-conscious management through efficient use of all resources..
- Encourage repeat business by adopting a professional attitude with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, briefed, reviewed and updated.
- Ensure TQs are raised
- Ensure all records for measurement and payment purposes are prepared promptly, in appropriate form.
- Keep abreast of developments in professional field.
- Establish close working relationship with site supervision to ensure cost-effective use of labour and plant.
- Ensure all paperwork in place, reporting completed, look ahead programme and all jobs are running smoothly
Required Experience
Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Successful management of a number of people and sites
- First Aid and SSSTS or SMSTS
- Thorough knowledge of company policy and relevant government legislation.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
