We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major infrastructure package on a live RAF base in Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD professional with strong experience in machine control modelling, highways/asphalt projects, and civil infrastructure coordination to play a key role on a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and manage accurate CAD and 3D machine control models
- Coordinate interfaces between planning, asphalt, surveying, and site delivery teams
- Support machine control setup and digital engineering workflows
- Develop and maintain terrain models, alignments, and construction drawings
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure models are delivered to programme requirements
- Ensure compliance with project and client standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior CAD Engineer or similar within civil engineering/infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of machine control modelling and digital engineering workflows
- Experience with highways, asphalt, earthworks, or large infrastructure schemes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with Trimble, Leica, or Topcon machine control systems preferred
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced Tier 1 contracting environment
