We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of a major rail infrastructure project. You will take responsibility for project financial performance, contract management and subcontract packages, while leading a commercial team and working closely with the wider project leadership team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial strategy and performance of the project.
- Manage forecasting, CVRs, budgets, risk and opportunity.
- Oversee NEC contract administration, variations, change and contractual entitlements.
- Manage subcontract procurement, payments, final accounts and disputes.
- Provide commercial input into programme, design change and project risk.
- Lead and develop a commercial team of 5+ people.
- Ensure the project achieves its financial and commercial targets.
Experience required:
- Strong commercial management experience on major infrastructure projects valued at £100m+.
- Rail experience highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial/contract law.
- Experience managing sizeable commercial teams.
- Degree or equivalent in a commercial discipline.
- MRICS or CICES desirable.
