Carmichael are recruiting for a Senior Design Manager for a £200m National Grid, Substation project.
Design and build lump sum contract
Initially based in office in Coventry until Feb 2024, then moving on site in Carlisle.
The Design Manager will take care of the civils works, comprising of earthworks, piling, RC structures and industrial buidings
Senior Civil Engineers can also be considered, granted extensive experience managing designers
Requirements for this position -
- Academically qualified or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience within earthworks, piling, RC structures and industrial buildings
- Experience in electrical/power environment would be beneficial
- Experience on National Grid projects beneficial
