Interested in working on Thames Tideway?
I have an immediate requirement for a Senior Engineer at one of the Tideway sites in Wandsworth. The project involves the construction of a Penstock wall to a tolerance of +/- 2mm. The position is estimated to last 2 months initially with a possibility of extension.
Your day to day workload will include but will not be limited to:
- Quality and Safety in general
- Familiar with ITPs, Method statements etc
- Production of handover packages, task briefings etc.
- Setting out engineering. the client have a set out an engineer on-site but he will need to provide him with all information and check his work.
- Reinforcement design and checks on site.
- Familiar with temporary works design for walls and slabs. Liaising with Kilnbridge’s and the client’s design team including checks on site.
- Raising RFIs.
- Ordering materials and liaising with the yard.
- Liaising directly with the client and attending progress and planning meetings.
You will have the following:
- Experience in working on civil engineering projects and managing a team
- HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable
- Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
