CarmichaelUK are looking for a Senior Engineer to work with one of our clients who have a healthy order book for 2021 working on Highways England frameworks. Works include resurfacing, bridge repair, embankment and junction work. We are looking for someone to start ASAP with there being long-term, ongoing work for the right candidate. The incoming candidate will spend approx. 3 days per week at our client's office in Gravesend and 2 days per week out on site. Travel will be a big part of this role as sites are spread across the whole of Kent and Essex.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing RAMs
- Programming works
- Resolving design discrepancies
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Lookaheads and progress reports
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Holds a highways passport (not essential)
- Has a full clean driving license and vehicle (essential)
