CarmichaelUK are looking for a Senior Engineer to work with one of our key clients on a major military infrastructure upgrade project in Suffolk. Our client is carrying out a £250m set of works including civils, surfacing and buildings. Work is ramping up as the team move into a big push to carry out this work in line with the programme and are therefore in need of extra engineering support for a minimum of 6 months. We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Responsibilities will include:
- Subcontractor management
- Completing check sheets
- Working with handover team to ensure smooth process
- Providing technical assistance to site team
- Producing RAMs and ITPs
- Progress reporting
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has groundworks experience
- Has previous main contractor and handover experience
