We are looking for a motivated Senior Engineer to join our team. Senior Engineers are required on infrastructure projects for various clients in the road, rail, tunnelling, utilities and associated sectors.
As a Senior Engineer you will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
You will work with clients and other team members to plan, deliver, and hand over projects throughout WA.
 
Responsibilities
In general, your responsibilities would include the following:
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements

You will also have:
  • a degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
  • an ability to manage project teams to solve problems, drive a health and safety culture and produce quality outcomes
  • strong interpersonal skills to liaise positively with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of innovative client solutions
  • ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
