We have a fantastic opportunity with a top tier contractor for an ambitious and talented Senior Engineer to mobilise the team for a major rail/civils project in Peterborough.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of professionals working on this innovative project.
The person:
Experience of major heavy civil engineering projects including;
- piling
- earthworks
- reinforced concrete work
Professional / educational back ground in civil engineering Experience of working in and around a rail environment
The project:
£200m scheme forming part of the East Coast Main Line Connectivity programme. The project intent is to separate a major junction on the ECML by installing a dive under taking freight and local passenger services below the East Coast Mainline. The contractor are Network Rail’s delivery partner for GRIP 4-6 Civils and OLE works incorporating piled retaining walls, bored tunnels, steel structures and a box jack. The project is due on site in Summer 2018 with the programme lasting until 2021.
