Carmichael UK is seeking a  Contract Senior Engineer to join a tier 1 HS2 JV based in Rickmansworth, Herts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all technical aspects of earthworks and drainage operations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
• Provide on-site support and guidance, utilizing your expertise to resolve engineering challenges.
• Prepare and review construction documentation, reports, and progress updates.

The ideal candidate will have a background managing a team of engineers, with HS2 and earthworks experience being highly desirable. This role is being offered on a contract basis for 3 months+ with pay rates of £380 - £400/day (PAYE Umbrella).
