I am looking for a Senior Engineer to work on a Rail project based in East of England.
A Tier 1 contractor with a very good reputation for undertaking various projects from construction and Infrastructure to Fit Out, Property Services, Partnership Housing, Urban Regeneration and Investments.
As part of Network Rail’s funding from the government, the Secretary of State for Transport has recognised the importance of improving capacity and reducing journey times on the East Coast Main Line (ECML) between Scotland, the North East, Yorkshire, Eastern England and London. As part of the programme our client is reinstating the fourth track on the East side of the railway.
The project is due to get underway during the Autumn/Winter of 2018 so until then the role would be office based, aiding with the final stages of planning, consent, temporary works, and early contractual engagement. There will also be periods of time spent out on site carrying out inspections and grounds observation works. Once underway the project will enter the major civils phase, with earthworks, structures and piling.
With 2.5 years of work planned on this project there is scope for a long-term freelance position.
You will need to have experience of working on major projects (preferably rail) and also experience in ALO Methodologies. You will require a valid CSCS card, and a right to work in the UK
If you feel that you are the right candidate for this role, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at email@example.com
