An established Highways contractor are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business have been operating for close to 40 years and are widely acknowledged for their professionalism and expertise when undertaking Highways projects.
They require a Senior Engineer who has an extensive background of working on Highways Maintenance and Smart Motorways schemes.
You will be overseeing a team consisting of 1x Site Engineer and 2x Graduate Engineers, you will be monitoring and checking their work whilst working to strict project timelines as given by the site management team.
The scope of works will include kerbing, drainage, speed reduction signals, traffic lights and paving.
Some of your duties will include:
- Accurate and timely setting out in accordance to drawings and designs
- Site set up and adhering to H&S company policies
- Liaising with Site Management
- Recording and maintaining site diary
- As-Built drawings
- General site duties
About you:
- BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience of working on Highways maintenance schemes or Smart Motorway schemes
- Have a full UK driving license
- Stable career history
