A long-term assignment exists for a Senior Engineer with extensive temporary works experience on a heavy reinforced concrete project. Previous experience as gained on large, heavy reinforced concrete civil projects working for a nominated concrete subcontractor or for a Tier one contractor will be advantageous.
Duties for this role include -
- Planning and completing all pre-pour information
- Oversee, analyse and submit the temporary works designs
- Managing a team of Site Engineers whilst reporting to the Engineering Lead
- Identifying and resolving all technical queries
- Ensuring all redline drawing are completed
- Ensure Thermocouple reports are submitted
- Manage clash detections
Requirements for this role include
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer/Section Engineer on a large heavy RC project
- Civil Engineering qualification and have followed the site engineering route
- Previous experience as a nominated concrete Subcontractor or principal Contractor
- Temporary works accreditation coupled with an above average understanding of temporary works
- An exceptional understanding of the heavy reinforced concrete construction procedure
- Experienced in overseeing setting out, as-builts, redline drawings, pre-pour checks etc
- Willing to work shifts (10/4/10/4)
