A short-term contract exists for a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent to ensure the smooth delivery of packages required for the completion of the project. Experience in the construction of main roads for local councils is sought after.
This post falls inside IR35, the rate advertised is negotiable based on experience.
Duties include:
- Assisting the Site Agent and Project Managers with their duties
- Ensuring actions are completed in accordance with the quality and specifications
- Managing the final delivery of surfacing, road markings, signage, barriers, and traffic signals
- Managing all traffic management
- Ensuring health and safety is achieved.
Requirements for this post include –
- Previous experience as a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent on local highways projects for a tier one or principal Contractor
- Demonstrable experience completing projects to hand over, including all snagging
- Construction ability in surfacing, signage and comms, road markings
- Extensive experience in the traffic management of projects in congested areas
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
