Our client is a civil engineering contractor, working across all sectors on infrastructure projects. They are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team in Birmingham to deliver Design and Build bids covering various disciplines, including highways, water, airport and industrial projects, pricing projects of up to £100m.
As a Senior Estimator you will be responsible for:
- Preparing tenders and reviewing documents
- Producing Bill of Quantities
- Liaising with design team and clients
- Preparing post tender valuation of submission to the construction team
- Filing tender documentation
- Preparing reports
Requirements:
- Previous estimating experience pricing civil engineering projects up to £100m
- Detailed civil engineering knowledge (highways and design & build- at least 5 years' experience)
- Construction/Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience with Sage and Evaluate software would be an advantage
- Knowledge of JCT, ICC and EEC NEC contracts
