Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.

- Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- Utilize industry-specific software and tools to prepare accurate take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Consider factors such as inflation, market conditions, and regulatory requirements when calculating costs.

Bid Preparation:
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals for projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and submission deadlines.
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to review bid strategies and pricing.

Cost Analysis:
- Analyze historical project data and industry benchmarks to improve the accuracy of estimates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to optimize project budgets.

Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and maintain positive working relationships.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals for inclusion in overall project estimates.

- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
- Provide detailed cost reports and analysis to project stakeholders, management, and clients.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Estimator, with a strong track record of successful project estimations.
- Proficiency in estimation software, such as Procore, Sage Estimating, or equivalent.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards.
