I am working for a Hertfordshire based client who are a main contractor looking for a Senior Estimator. This is a permanent role, you will work with the Bid Manager and the Estimating Manager in the estimating team to ensure that processes are followed, bid/no bid decisions are taken and competitive, profitable bids are submitted and won.
To be successful you will have a higher level qualification in civil engineering, construction engineering or a related discipline, it would be beneficial if you were a member of the RICS or ICE. You must have well developed IT skills, being fully familiar with Microsoft Office and related packages.
Experience/Skils:
· (HNC or Bachelors degree) qualification in civil engineering, construction engineering or a related discipline
· Membership of the RICS or ICE
· Good IT skills, fully familiar with Microsoft Office and related packages
· Substantial experience of working in a similar role and industry
