An opportunity exists for a Senior Foreman with continuous experience in the construction of bridges whilst employed by a principal contractor. An above average knowledge of reinforced concrete and shuttering is sought after. Concrete must run in your veins.
Duties will include –
- Daily toolbox talks and inductions
- Daily and weekly planning
- Resource planning including materials and equipment
- Managing of in-house teams and sub-contractors
- Interpretation of the drawings
- Supervising heavy lifts
- Site administration including site diary, timesheets and plant returns etc.
- Management of the works and solving of technical issues
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements include –
- Proven ability as a senior concrete Foreman on heavy reinforced civil structures especially bridges
- Predominantly principal contractor experience
- Proven ability to manage and motivate the work force
- SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid
