Carmichael are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planner, for our client, on a permanent basis.
Working on the preconstruction of a major airport, as Senior Planner, you will be tasked with producing a fully linked Project Programme to identify critical path, float, risk and opportunity.
Responsibilities will incude -
- Undertake what-if scenarios and report their projected outcomes
- Verify suppliers and sub-contractors programme ad methodology
- Identify requirements for temporary works and liaise with TW team to obtain desings and costings
- Obtain quotes for 4D construction
- Update project programme in line with the contract and identify risks aganst the baseline
- Weekly progress monitoring
- Implement change control process
- Prepare cause and effect programmes
- Establish effective relationships with the supply chain
Requirements -
- Civil Engineering qualification would be preferred
- 8+ Years experince within planning
- Solid experience within Civils
- P6 expertise
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of planners
- Prior experience on airports would be beneficial
