This award winning international building contractor with a reputation of delivering quality projects to prestigious clients within the commercial, residential and healthcare sectors seeks to employ an experienced Senior Planner to cover projects in the North West.
Duties of the Senior Planner include -
- Produce planning programs using first principles and P6
- Produce tender and construction programs
- Interact with in-house professionals to ensure a successful bid and project
- Interrogate subcontractor programs
- Create and monitor planning controls
- Identify and flag delays that impact on the critical path
- Create cause and effect programs
- Integrate costing into the programs
- Manage and teach Junior Planners
Requirements for this post include –
- Previous experience in a similar post with a tier 1 or 2 principle building contractors
- Experience on large projects (shopping centers, high-rise, hospitals etc)
- An expert in the use of P6
- Construction related degree or diploma
- CSCS card
