Carmichael are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Controls Manager, on a permanent basis, to work on a Major Civils Framework.
You must be able to hit the ground running and mentor the current Project Controls team
Responsibilities -
- Creating and managing the project controls for the project which include the cost estimates, budgets, baseline program, financial reports and risk management
- Monthly reporting of the above to the Project Directors
- Challenging, advising and producing solutions to achieve the project deliverables
- Create and perform audits on daily control activities
- Directly involved in contract negotiations, bids and estimates
- Track and Report on EV
- Cost and resource tracking
- Managing of staff and their performances
Requirements for this position -
- Preferably hold a Civil Engineering degree
- 10+ years in project controls roles
- Demonstrable experience developing project controls teams
- P6 user who has experience resource & cost loading
- Proven NEC experience
- Track and Report on EV
- Advanced knowledge in cost and resource tracking
- Advanced EoT experience and knowledge of Change Mgt process
- Solid knowledge of commercial process for change and period end
- Solid knowledge of Doc Control process
- Solid understanding of Risk and Opportunities reporting
- Proficiency in Power BI preferred
