An opportunity exists for a rail Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer who has been involved in design coordination on a medium to large rail JV specifically during the site and ground investigation phase.
Duties include
- Act as the link between the delivery and design teams
- Ensure that the flow of information in both directions is successful
- Respond to or escalate RFI and technical queries
- Make use of previous experience and knowledge to improve the processes
- Ensure that the design program is interlinked to the delivery program
- Attend weekly design meetings
Requirements –
- Extensive civil engineering experience within the rail sector for a principal Consultant.
- Good knowledge of design principles and interpretations
- Good knowledge of Network rail and British standard
- Proven design co-ordination and Designer/Contractor interaction experience during the SI/GI phase
- Effective planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering is preferable
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
