CarmichaelUK are looking for a Senior Project Manager to work with one of our clients' on their flagship project at Bristol Temple Meads Station. This is a £24m project refurbishing the roof at the station, which is a Grade 1 Listed Building. We are looking for someone to start ASAP, with the job due for completion in 2023.
The work includes installation of foundations and erecting scaffolding towers during 2021. Once complete, the towers will support a safety screen to protect staff and passengers. Renovation involves re-lazing and extensive metal and woodwork repairs on the main shed roof, as well as further work on roofing over an adjoining street. Metal and timber repairs are also being made to canopies on platforms and in the forecourt. Paintwork will be stripped back and refreshed.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivery of the contracted works on time and to budget, in line with client specifications
- Management of up to 4 Project Managers and Site Managers
- Progress reporting to Head Office
- External stakeholder management
- Ensuring the highest H&S standards are adhered to
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card (Black or White)
- Has experience working as a Project Manager on a Network Rail job
