Carmichael UK are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a tier 1 contractor at Heathrow Airport on a long term contracting basis.
As the contract lead you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of major civils works within the airport. Your role will include overseeing team setup, managing activities, and leading a diverse team of designers, engineers, supervisors, surveyors, and supply chain partners. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing progress reports, addressing issues, seeking approvals, and ensuring alignment with the client’s values and behaviours.
Role Requirements
- Civil engineering qualification and practical delivery experience
- Previous experience of management on complex/sensitive programmes
- Practical experience working with NEC 4 contracts
- Effective communication and strong stakeholder management skills
- Passionate about improving performance in the sector through best practice, process improvements and continuous improvement practices.
