We currently are searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commerical Manager to join an HS2 project based in the Hertfordshire region.
This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor that wants to step into a Senior QS role, or alternatively a Senior Quantity Surveyor that wants to join an HS2 JV on the largest project in the UK.
The role is to support accountant management with subcontractors and you must have Tier 1 experience in NEC3 and Earthworks Compensation events.
This is a site-based role with successful candidates required to work onsite 5 days a week.
Some more of your duties:
- Undertake cost analysis of bid returns
- Commercial support to office management
- Providing regular cash flow and forecasts
- Finalise contractors’ accounts and closeout contracts
- Monthly commercial profit reporting
- Assist and prepare monthly valuations
- Being responsible for tendering documents and paying subcontractors
About you:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Experience with NEC 3 Contracts
- Experience within earth works and heavy civils Engineering projects
- Previous experience in a main
- Team player with strong communication skills
