A short-term contract, inside IR35, exists for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a major Water infrastructure project.
Based on site for a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week, you will report directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and will initial focus on the procurement and commercial management of several subcontract packages. As the projects progress, you will support the commercial team in the evaluation and management of:
- Compensation Events and Change Control
- Variations / VO's
- Extension of Time (EOT) claims
- Subcontractor procurement and contract administration
- Commercial reporting and cost management
- Supporting the MQS with the delivery of project objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or utilities projects.
- Strong subcontract procurement experience.
- Previous experience assessing and managing change, variations and EOT claims.
- Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and site teams.
- Experience within the water sector is highly desirable.
