SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE
LOCATION: West London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior QS skilled in Rail Infrastructure works to join a highly regarded civil contractor on the Crossrail Project based in West London.
-Manage and develop Junior / Graduate QS’s within the commercial team
-Key Subcontract management
-Management of Sub-contract payments
-Budget responsibility
-Valuations
-Cashflow management
-Contractual correspondence
-Change Management assessment and agreement with the client
-Procurement and administration of key subcontracts
-Key Supplier Liaison
-Budget preparations and associated analysis
-Liaise with the commercial team, supply chain and the project team in order to fulfil the duties aforementioned.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career with an established contractor.
Required Experience:
- BSc./MSc Engineering or Quantity Surveying or similar RICS accredited degree
-Strong knowledge of Network Rail requirements
-Experienced working in a complex contracting environment for a main contractor
-Strong knowledge and working experience of NEC contracts
