We have an exciting opportunity to work on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Contractor leading the £1.9bn project.

The six-year construction programme will start in March on the latest phase of the £1bn LPT2 project which will see 32.5km of tunnel built to house electricity transmission cables 30 metres underground. The new cables will replace three circuits that currently run under the surface of roads between Wimbledon in the southwest to Crayford in the southeast.


They require a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Change Manager to join the team in London on a permanent basis.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working on large civils schemes, major projects background, either within heavy civils, tunnelling, earthworks, highways or rail infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities:

- Contractual administration of high value project subcontractors;

- Sub-contract management, procurement and negotiation;

- Commercial resolution with Clients of scheme outcomes, including payments;

- Managing projects from award through to final accounts;

- Managing a team

 

Qualifications:

- Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent

- Experience working on a civil engineering projects
